Usually, this precious material becomes newsworthy because there is too little, in the wrong place, or it is of poor quality. Globally, people are challenged to manage water more effectively. Our efforts are delivering significant results to Dow and its Stakeholders.
In 2003, Dow sites and businesses reduced water needs by nearly 20 million metric tons (5.28 billion gallons) and delivered value of $15 million to Dow through better resource management. A few examples of contributing projects are:
